A fake GTA 6 screenshot has been widely circulated online

GTA 6 is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated games, and since Rockstar Games keeps information about the game under wraps, fans have to rely on leaks to glean anything about it and satisfy their craving for something new. It's evident that this drives some to share fake leaks, intentionally or not, and today, it has happened again.

Interestingly, this fake screenshot was shared by a Twitter account with 1.3 million followers. Moreover, the tweet has already exceeded 13 million views, with this number increasing by hundreds of thousands every few minutes.

It's easy to see that the leak is fake for several reasons. Besides the blurry photo, the presence of improvised lines of code in the background, creating the impression that it's some stolen version under development, makes it clear that all of this is created by artificial intelligence or through photoshopping.

What's truly amusing is the mini-map on the left with the giant "Vice Beach" label above. Next to the trail, you can also notice a row of two-dimensional palm trees - a detail that wouldn't make sense to exist on a mini-map of this type.
