Valorant Patch 13.06 Overview
Published: 17/09/2026
Valorant is about to receive one of its massive updates in recent history. Riot Games is shaking up the meta, progression, and even the waiting queue with Patch 13.06. Here is a complete breakdown of everything coming to the tactical shooter on September 22.
1. Meet the Warden: A New Premium Rifle
The weapon arsenal is expanding with a brand-new automatic rifle called the Warden.
- Cost: 2,900 Credits (directly competing with the Vandal and Phantom).
- Design: Tailored for long-range engagements, equipped with a 2x optical scope.
- Specs: Features an 18-round magazine and pinpoint first-bullet accuracy.
- Damage: Deals a flat 50 torso damage at any distance.
- Catch: It has a slower fire rate compared to the Vandal and Phantom, rewarding precision over spraying.
2. Deepening Progression: Agent Mastery & Gear
Riot is completely replacing the old Agent contract rewards with a comprehensive Agent Mastery system.
- Leveling Up: Every Agent will now have both seasonal and permanent mastery levels. You will earn points simply by playing matches, with wins and high performance significantly boosting your progression.
- Agent Gear: The old reward system is being phased out, but don't worry—any items you have already unlocked will remain securely on your account.
3. Express Yourself with Personal Agent IDs
Show off your dedication to your main character. You can now build a dedicated, fully customized profile for your favorite Agent. This includes choosing unique poses, backgrounds, portraits, icons, borders, and displaying agent-specific stats.
4. New Experimental Mode: Gauntlet: Glitched
Looking for something chaotic? This upcoming mode features 8 teams of 2 players fighting in a unique arena.
- Players will build "robo-agents" using randomly drafted abilities from various Valorant characters.
- You can upgrade your abilities mid-match.
- Random "glitches" will dynamically alter how skills work, creating wild, never-before-seen combinations.
5. Quality of Life: Range While Queueing & UI Overhaul
- The Range in Queue: No more staring at the timer. You can now load into the Practice Range to warm up your aim while the system searches for a match.
- UI Redesign: Riot is modernizing the main menu, player profiles, and the competitive progress tracker for a cleaner, more intuitive look.
